North Franklin Township (Owner) is requesting separate sealed Bids for the construction of each
contract for the following Project:
Proposed Municipal Building
Contract #1 – General Trades
Contract #2 – Mechanical
Contract #3 – Electrical
Contract #4 – Plumbing
Separate Sealed Bids for the construction of the Project including furnishing all labor, materials,
tools, equipment, transportation, supervision and complete performance for all work specified in
each Contract will be received at the North Franklin Township Municipal Building located at 620
Franklin Farms Road, Washington, PA 15301, until Friday, May 20, 2022, at 9:00 AM local time.
After that time, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud at a specially scheduled
meeting at 10:00 AM on May 20,2022 at the Township Building.

BIDDING FOR THIS CONTRACT IS NOW CLOSED-
ON-CALL CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT RENTAL –
BIDS DUE MAY 6, 2022, 12:00 PM (NOON)
Sealed proposals for ON-CALL CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT RENTAL will be received by North Franklin Township, 620 Franklin Farms Road, Washington, PA 15301, until 12:00 noon, local prevailing time, on Friday, May 6, 2022. North Franklin Township is seeking to rent certain pieces of construction equipment with qualified operators in order to augment its own construction equipment and work force on various projects, on an as needed basis. Any Contractor submitting a proposal price for the rental of any equipment, guarantees by virtue of submitting a proposal, that the hourly rental charges indicated will remain fixed for the entire term of the contract as set forth in Section 15 of the Standard Instructions to Bidders, herein.
Specifications and proposal blanks may be picked up at the North Franklin Township Office, 620 Franklin Farms Road, Washington, PA 15301 or by submitting a written request to this address. Bidders may fax their written request to the North Franklin Township Office at 724-228-2150.

Bids, whether mailed or delivered in person, shall be sealed and clearly marked “ON-CALL CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT RENTAL” and addressed to Erin Dinch, North Franklin Township, 620 Franklin Farms Road, Washington, PA 15301. Bids received after the bid closing time will not be accepted.
Bids will be opened and read publicly on Friday, May 6 at 12:00 PM (noon) at the North Franklin Township Municipal Building located at 620 Franklin Farms Road, Washington, PA 15301. Bids will then be reviewed by staff and a bid winner will be announced on or before June 30, 2022.
Bids may be held by the Township for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of the bids for the purpose of reviewing bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the Contract. The Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or any portion thereof, or to waive any informalities in the bids.
