Census Workers Are In North Franklin
Census takers have started visiting non-responding households across the nation and North Franklin is no exception. Census Workers are currently in the Township personally calling on households who have not responded to the Census. Responding to the 2020 Census now minimizes the need for census takers to visit homes to collect responses in person. So, please take this opportunity to help shape the future of North Franklin by completing your 2020 Census today. Responding is easy, safe, and important!
You can self-respond in three ways:
Online at 2020census.gov;
By phone in English at 844-330-2020 or in 12 other languages; and
By mail using the paper questionnaire that the Census Bureau mailed in April to most non-responding addresses.
Make sure you count!
The response for North Franklin Township is currently at 80.7%! Response rates help determine how hundreds of billions of dollars are allocated each year to local communities for vital services like schools, healthcare, roads, bridges, and emergency response. We need your help to ensure that North Franklin Township and Trinity School District do not miss out on receiving the state and federal money that is due to us!
The deadline for the 2020 Census is September 30th and North Franklin has still not equaled our 2010 Census response rate of 80.9%! While we are beating the Washington County average by 10.1% and we are ahead of the response rate of all our neighboring municipalities, we can do better! Please help by reminding your friends and family to complete their census forms. You can see current response rates on the map below to follow how North Franklin and other municipalities are doing.
Please take a few minutes to complete your response now!
It is easy to do, takes only a few minutes, and your information is completely private. It is illegal for the Census Bureau to share an individual’s responses with immigration enforcement agencies, law enforcement agencies, the IRS, or to allow that information to be used to determine eligibility for government benefits. We have almost reached our goal of 85.9%, with only 5.4% to go!
Please take the time to respond today!
The 2020 Census is more than a population count; it’s an opportunity to shape the future of our community!
